Redwood City, CA - Cuesta Technologies today announced another "on time, within budget delivery" of two new inter-related Web sites for World Class Learning Materials and Learning Well. Together, these companies manufacture and distribute more than 20 nationally and internationally recognized educational product lines of the highest quality.
"We were intrigued when we learned that Cuesta Technologies, the premier Web developer for the K-12 materials market, could build two Web sites that would share a single database while preserving our different brands", said Bruce Brown, Executive Vice President for LW and WLCM. "Cuesta's affiliate module saved us hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. We have found the whole experience, starting with the design phase all the way through development, deployment and training to be exciting and enervating", he continued.

The B2B World Class Learning Materials Web site was designed to allow dealers to find up-to-date product information and pictures. The company was careful not to include pricing in order to protect the dealer's sale.
The new B2C e-commmerce site for Learning Well, however, features hundreds of teacher developed educational materials in addition to the WCLM products and provides educators who are used to ordering from Learning Well's 163-page full color catalog a way to order with confidence 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Both Web sites include a section that encourages teachers with product ideas to send them forward for evaluation.
"Because we understand how teachers think about educational materials, we were able to set up a database with sophisticated search and browse functions that allows them to combine key words and multiple categories--making it easy to locate and purchase products that meet very specific teaching/learning criteria", said Monty Swiryn, president of Cuesta Technologies. "We're looking forward to watching these sites develop knowing that Cuesta's easy-to-use data and content management tools were of paramount importance to WCLM and Learning Well when they awarded the Web development contract to us", Swiryn continued.
