The new searchable online catalog will ultimately include all the products from the company's 30 different catalogs in a single source. The Zenger Media Online sites can be searched by keyword and/or by any combination of criteria including author, grade level, subject, and media. As an added-value, educators will also find links directly from the product pages to creative lesson plans and video previews. Links to related products are also accessible, making cross-curricular lesson planning easier for educators.
Dr. Aaron Willis of Social Studies School Service said, "Social Studies School Service selected the Cuesta Online Catalog System for their Web based catalog because our requirements included the ability to bring data from several sources together into a database that would be easy to maintain and keep up-to-date. Speed of performance and ease of navigation are flagship features of Cuesta's system, two key elements to our project's success."

The online catalog is the newest and most sophisticated feature of the SSSS web site. According to Monty Swiryn of Cuesta Technologies, "For decades, educators have held our catalogs with the highest regard. Now, they finally have access to Zenger's huge database of materials, enabling them to search for and find exactly what they need. In addition, for the first time, SSSS can offer brand new titles as soon as they are released. Where previously information about new titles was held for the publication of the next appropriate catalog, now the information is simply added to the online database and made available instantaneously."
Social Studies School Service and Zenger Media have been a leader in educational resources since 1965, searching out the highest quality supplementary learning materials for an ever faithful following. Their experienced editorial staff and teacher consultants carefully evaluate titles from over a thousand publishers, searching for materials that are effective, balanced, easy to use, and reasonably priced. In their ongoing effort to respond to the needs of teachers, they publish over 30 catalogs a year focusing on different subject areas and grade levels.
